Stepping Stones to be a Better Me

Teachers and student leaders have recently shared many valuable tips on how to "be a better me." Now, the responsibility falls on you to select and adopt the path that suits you best. This selection process is deeply personal and cannot rely on artificial intelligence. First, you inherently AI ever could. Second, you must never allow AI to replace your own critical decision-making. True growth begins when you take ownership of your choices as I have mentioned in my morning assembly speech.

No matter which strategy you choose to adopt, the foundation of success remains the same: you must be diligent and perseverant. There is simply no shortcut to achieving your goals. If you do not put in the hard work, you cannot expect to harvest the fruits that others have planted. While luck might occasionally favour you, effort and ability are far more sustainable and durable over a lifetime.

Therefore, I urge you to work hard every day. Focus on making consistent baby steps: read the newspaper, listen to English podcast every day. These small, daily improvements will gradually lead you to a wider, brighter road. This consistency is the definition of true commitment. Absolutely nothing of lasting value can be achieved without perseverance. Together, commitment and self-discipline are the core values we must nurture and uphold to navigate the future.

We have a wonderful opportunity to practice these values very soon. A variety of major school activities will be conducted off-campus this month, including our annual Picnic Day and the Athletics Meets. These moments are absolutely crucial to your campus life. They are not just breaks from your routine, but vital opportunities to exercise the character and values you have learned inside the classroom.

All of the teachers and I cannot wait to see your teamwork, sportsmanship, and vibrant school spirit shine throughout these events. Let us support one another, strive for personal excellence, and show the community what our school stands for.

Be safe, look out for one another, and have fun!
