PIE: Plan, Implement, and Evaluate

Summertime is the perfect season for us to reflect on our journey. It gives us the valuable time we need to look back at the past academic year and map out a brighter path ahead. Before we look forward, we must pause to celebrate our victories. I want to cheer for everything we have achieved. I am incredibly proud of everyone’s hard work and achievements.

 

To keep this momentum going, we can use a simple tool called the PIE framework. This stands for Plan, Implement, and Evaluate. Right now, we are in the evaluation phase. We should look at our successes and ask ourselves how we can remain efficient and effective. At the same time, we must gently look at the areas where we fell short. Missing a goal is not a failure; it is just a lesson. We should ask ourselves honest questions. Did we prepare well enough? Did we give our best effort? Do we need to reach out and seek guidance from teachers or professionals?

 

Education is about growing as a whole person. As we grow a year older, our responsibilities at home grow too. This summer, show care for our family by helping with household chores and being more considerate. True leadership starts at home. Let us love our families, support our friends, and lift each other up at all times.

 

If we evaluate honestly now, we can plan wisely and implement our dreams with confidence when the new school term begins.
